Reptiles, Boa Constrictors, Ball Pythons, Snakes, For Sale
As a wee one, I had more snakes than my Mother cared to want to know. She voued to never let me have a snake. Opps, about three
years later I had a small reputation in the neighborhood for being "the kid with the snakes."
So how did all this happen ... well, it started like this:
In a land far far away (Costa Rica actually) there was a boy (younger and much more innocent then) who had a friend who brought his
snake to school. This friend was a pot-head and was kinda out there if you know waht I mean. But, the snake, yah the snke was cool.
Right there and then this boy decided to get a snake despite all obsticle (Mom mostly).
Problem #1 - No money and allowance was not going to cut it.
Problem #2 - No place to put it and it had to be under-cover.
Problem #3 - Food supply
Problem #4 - I did not know anything about snakes.
Guess what, when you set your mind to something, you usually accomplish it. Sure eenough, no less than a couple months later, I had
my first snake! A beautiful red tail boa that was orangish in color. She lived in a 10 gallon fish tank and I fed her what ever I
could catch her.
From there, the collection grew to eight boas, and two burmese pythons. The legend spread in the neighborhood, and before I knew it,
I had snakes showing up at my door without me asking.
I solved the problems by growing my own mice in the "mouse hotel" I built and i supplemented food for the bigger snakes with chicks
from the local hatchery.
From these humble beginnings I developed a love for reptiles and a respect for their efficiency and adaptability. I consider them
truely amazing and would like to expand this site to explore this passion for reptiles as an adult.
